Less than half the weight of a 10x12 AR500 steel plate, these inserts are comfortably worn for hours without fatigue. 
Resists six shots of 7.62X51 NATO Ball (.308 win) @ 2750fps.
This model complies with NIJ Standard-0101.06 for Ballistic Resistance of Body Armor.
Our XL SAPI Cut offers increased surface area protection, while reducing sharp edges and without inhibiting a full range of motion. 
Package includes two Lev III SHTF Armor Single Curve 11"x14" Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene hard armor inserts, and a 3xl - 4xl Tan discreet plate carrier. 
Important: Plate carrier alone IS NOT BULLET RESISTANT, AND MUST BE WORN WITH THE HARD INSERTS TO DEFEAT M80 Ball.
